Our server was prompt, food came quickly and was piping hot. It hit the spot and was the right price.

My family and I have been coming here for years and y'all never disappoint. The food is always amazing. Curb service is wonderful and so is eating inside.

The hot dogs are great, just as I remembered as a child. Great food and they still have curb hops!! Love it!

Ammon's is a true staple in Haywood County. With great food and a fun, friendly staff. I love the chili hot dogs and Chuck wagon sandwiches. Great sweet tea as well, oh and don't forget the lemon meringue pie!

this is a great little local place to eat. My family and I were in the Maggie valley area and looking for a place to get some dinner. We asked the desk clerk at our hotel, and she highly recommended this place. We were very pleased with her recommendation! The food was great, service was fast, very friendly, and at a great price. This is one of those great little unassuming looking American diner type restaurants. Don't let the modest exterior fool you. Food is awesome!

Bland freezer burnt fries. Hot dog was not hot. Luke warm. No need to go back

I am not usually a review writer but the hamburger was the most pathetic I have ever had. it could not have been 2 ounces the slice of tomato was bigger.

Curbside only. I've been inside this restaurant and it very easily could be converted to 6 feet distance to allow for dine-in but instead I had to sit in my vehicle to eat. Food was okay.

This is a great old fashioned curb side service restaurant! I love it! The little old man is out to your car before you even park it to take your order. Its very good diner food! Sweet tea is a must! As well as the French fires and a milkshake! And the price is great too! Super affordable!

This is a local family and business and they are very caring about their customers, they always treat everyone with the greatest respect and kindness. They have a curb hop so you can order and eat in your car, or take it home,or you can call in order and have it ready when you get there everyone always has a smile and kind words for everyone, thanks for having such a wonderful business , we really enjoy coming by and getting food,or just saying hello. Thanks for all you do to provide such a great place for people to eat.

My husband thinks this is the greatest place ever..he use to come here as a teen with his buddies..don't know if it's the food,or the great memories, that does it for him!

I enjoy the shrimp kabobs every time I come. The Salisbury steak didn't do the job for my mother, but she enjoyed their macaroni salad. Also be careful they don't drown your baked potato in sour cream and butter.

Stop here only if there is nothing else to eat. Everything is from a can, NOTHING is homemade, Hormel chili on a soybean burger with a microwaved bun. The girlfriend had Mac & cheese that was from a box, cardboard box that is. Turkey and dressing, the dressing must of been stove top. There must have been a sugar shortage, for the "sweet tea" was semi sweet..... Thumbs down...

Called in order. No one said cash only. No one said the waiters would be outside around running around lost without a cause or so it seemed. I know. I know. Covid this. Covid that. If you have that many people sitting in their cars come up with a system to serve people better. Maybe that's the retired military in me. Oh wait. Nope. Just basic stuff. They said 15-20 minutes over the phone. Got their and sat in car for about 20. Waited to leave for the restaurant about 10. So maybe 40 minutes wasted in all. I went in the restaurant and the women looked at me like I was insane. A woman finally asked me about my order. She never returned. I left.

If you crave southern foods, this local place is for you. Strict drive-in and cash-only place. Great quick service, excellent food at a nominal price. We tried flounder dinner meal, flounder sandwich with their tarter sauce, fried chicken and coleslaw. Flounder taste truly stood out! When you visit, suggest you order takeout and go eat in near by Lake Junaluska area where there are plenty of park benches with serene scenic views.

Amazing service, great price, good food! They only accept cash but they let me use the ATM inside while my food was being prepared. $8.50 for a pimento cheeseburger, peanut butter milkshake, & fried pickles. Pickles and milkshake were amazing!

Hands down the worst service I've ever experienced. The woman who took my order was straight hostile. I understand not having a good day but that tone/attitude was just unnecessary. My burger was so cold I couldn't even eat it, I had to go home and heat it up.Literally will never go back.
